Who we are
PTG Travel Ltd (“PTG”, “we”, “us”) provides corporate mobility services in Kenya, including airport transfers, point-to-point and as-directed hire, group and event transport, and staff shuttles. We are the data controller for the personal data described in this policy.
We process personal data in line with the Data Protection Act, 2019 (Kenya) and its regulations.
The data we collect
Depending on how you interact with us, we may collect:
- Contact details: name, company, job title, email address and phone number.
- Booking and trip details: passenger names, pick-up and drop-off locations, dates and times, flight numbers and special requests.
- Account and billing details for corporate clients: billing contacts, invoicing and payment records.
- Driver and partner details: identity documents, driving licence, PSV badge, certificate of good conduct, vehicle and insurance records.
- Communications: messages you send us by email, phone, WhatsApp or through forms on this website.
- Website usage data: pages visited, device and browser type, and approximate location, collected through cookies (see “Cookies and analytics” below).
How we use your data
We use personal data to:
- Respond to enquiries and prepare quotes.
- Plan, dispatch and deliver trips, and keep passengers informed.
- Manage corporate accounts, invoicing and payments.
- Vet, onboard and manage drivers and partners.
- Maintain safety, security and service quality, including trip monitoring.
- Improve our website and services.
- Meet our legal, regulatory and tax obligations.
We rely on one or more of these lawful bases: performing a contract with you or your organisation, our legitimate interests in running a safe and efficient service, compliance with legal obligations, and your consent where required (for example, for marketing messages).
Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal data. We share it only where needed:
- With the drivers and partners assigned to your trip, limited to what they need to deliver it.
- With your organisation, where it holds the corporate account under which you travel.
- With service providers who support our operations, such as hosting, communications, payment and analytics providers, under contracts that require them to protect your data.
- With authorities, where required by law or to protect the safety of passengers, drivers or the public.
International transfers
Some of our service providers store or process data outside Kenya. Where this happens we take steps required by the Data Protection Act, 2019 to make sure your data stays appropriately protected.
How long we keep it
We keep personal data only as long as we need it for the purposes above, or as long as the law requires (for example, financial records kept for tax purposes). After that, we delete or anonymise it.
Cookies and analytics
This website uses Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the site, so we can improve it. Google Analytics sets cookies that collect information such as the pages you visit and the device you use. We also record clicks on contact buttons, such as WhatsApp, to measure enquiries.
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, or install the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on. The site still works without them.
How we protect it
We use technical and organisational measures to protect personal data against loss, misuse and unauthorised access, including access controls and encrypted connections. No system is completely secure, but we work to keep your data safe and will notify you and the Data Commissioner of a breach where the law requires.

Under the Data Protection Act, 2019 you have the right to:
- Be informed about how your data is used.
- Access the personal data we hold about you.
- Ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete data.
- Ask us to delete data that is false, misleading or no longer needed.
- Object to processing, including for direct marketing.

To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details below. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can complain to the Office of the Data Protection Commissioner (ODPC) at www.odpc.go.ke.
